The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
